  • What Kind are you????

Hello to you all. I am sitting here reading all the comments on our site, and trying to figure out why it is easier to log onto Xanga (or jenga as my wife has called it) ( or the cobweb as Andy Bear calls it) and let a comment for someone, rather than just type a short email and send it.??  Anyway, I will give you all something to laugh about. Maybe you have to live here in Guatemala to enjoy this to the fullest, but I think you all will get the joke. One day Terry Bauman, our headquaters house dad, was in the city. It was a couple of days after Bush left from his trip down here. He heard a plane taking off and realized that it was several Air Force jets leaving. He said there were 3 or 4 of them, and they did a kindof neat formation out across the city on their way out. He asked a Guatemalan guy standing on the street it those were US or Guatemalan. The guy said, " Oh, their US, of course." A couple of seconds later this same guy said " These are Guatemalan". When Terry looked at what the guy was pointing at, here they were pigeons!! All too often that is about the way it is!

Well, I have places to go and things to be....sooo.... Be good works, Do well, and We be in touch.....Joel

  • life in Guatemala

Hi Friends!  It's a beautiful, sunny afternoon in Guatemala.  Leah was "winging" until the swing broke, Joel is reading and Zach must be sleeping, at least he's quiet.  Tonight we invited a family from church to come over.  Joel wants someone to play Construction with him and I guess he knows I'm not a very enthusiastic construction game player.  Ok, so I'm just trying this out, so we'll see what happens next.
